BirdID Lite

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I donate Pi? BirdID Lite is currently in development and free to use

Open this site in the Pi Browser and use the “Donate” button on the results page. Outside Pi Browser, you’ll see a message with a link to our Public Donations Ledger.

Why don’t I see images or questions?

Try a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R). If you’re on mobile, ensure you’re visiting birdid-site.pages.dev (or your custom domain) and not an older cached tab. Also check your connection—images are hosted under /images/.

Where does my donation go?

Once verified non-profit bird conservation organizations begin accepting Pi, future Pi contributions made through this app will be directed to KYB-approved groups. You’ll be able to monitor disbursements on the Public Donations Ledger.

Can I suggest new questions or report inaccuracies?

Yes! Use the Contact form and include the bird name, a proposed question/choices, and a source. To report a specific quiz item, use the “Report this question” link shown under the question (when available).

Is BirdID Lite open source?

The public site content is mirrored to GitHub for deployment. We’ll share more about contributions later. For now, suggestions are welcome via the Contact form.
